Fan favourites, Gibson Guitar have announced that they are releasing a music album, featuring tracks performed by some of the world’s most talented and famous guitarists, exclusively for download from HDTracks.com.

The album, Gibson Presents: Hot Tones in High Definition will only be available for 60 days, from the 6th of October. So get going!

All tracks will be available in an assortment of high quality audio formats including uncompressed AIFF and FLAC and 320kbps MP3. The best part is that all of them are DRM-free. This seems to be the current trend with artists and companies alike. Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Saul Williams are just some of the artists who oppose DRM.

Artists featured on the album include Tinsley Ellis, Johhny A, Big Bill Morganfield, Michael Burks, Chris Cain, Nick Colionne, Billy Burnette, Peter Karp, Eric Johnson, Arlen Roth (with Sonny Landreth), Kenny Neal, Johnny Winter and Neal Schon. And if that wasn’t enough, the album features a never-before-heard instrumental track with father and son partnership, Abraham Laboriel Sr and Jnr. together with the almighty Slash.
